"Leave Our Kids Alone!" Drag Queen Story Hour at your local Library to exploit our precious children. Let's not let this happen! Legislative updates included.
It's not about Gay Rights. It's way wrong!
This weekend there will be a series of “Drag Queen Story Hours” being promoted by our local media, and our County educational system. Are you concerned about the indoctrination that is occurring with our youth about their “right” to choose their sex, and to be exposed to psychological manipulation about their sexuality, leading to alterations physically and emotionally that cannot be undone? We must not let this happen to our youth under the age of 18.
See a recent PD article on the concern with “protestors” (parents) attending the presentations: https://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/news/library-officials-concerned-drag-story-hour-could-reignite-protest/.
Our children need us to be their voice. Let’s help protect their innocence and prevent the outrageous indoctrination that is occurring within our County education system and elsewhere. We must speak up. Fathers who are out there — what better day to stand up for your children’s rights that this weekend on Father’s Day! Note that peaceful protests will be occurring on both Saturday and Sunday. Please show up a half hour prior to the scheduled talk time.
If you would like to detangle the transgender narrative even further, please take a look at these resources, or visit our website! We cannot stand idle while our children are being indoctrinated without our full consent, awareness and knowledge. Is this what we want for their future?
*If you are especially outraged by all that is going on with indoctrinating & controlling our children, and would like to be part of a Sonoma County Leadership team forming, please email email@example.com.*

We are here because those who are exploring gender identity or struggling with their biological sex should have access to therapists who will provide thoughtful care without pushing an ideological or political agenda.
We believe that skilled, ethical exploratory therapy is appropriate for those with gender dysphoria, their families, and detransitioners.
We are an international alliance of professionals, trans people, detransitioners, parent groups and others who seek high-quality care for gender-related distress.
Emerging as a leading organization that offers an alternative to WPATH, Genspect offers a range of education, resources, and support for anyone who has been impacted by gender dysphoria.
Uniting 25 different organizations in 23 countries, we don’t just speak for a few: we speak for thousands.
Welcome to Thoughtful Therapists, we have come together with a shared concern about the impact of gender identity ideology on children and young people. We want to protect the integrity of the open-ended exploration of thoughts and feelings that has always been, and is still now, the basis of ethical and effective therapy.
We are concerned that the proposed Bill to Ban Conversion Therapy may criminalize or ban exploratory therapy in the context of gender dysphoria and the push to affirm a client’s gender identity, without exploration or neutrality, which will be detrimental to both therapists and clients who want to work in this area.
We believe that ethical therapists would never carry out conversion therapy and so the focus should be on protecting the integrity of the therapeutic process. We do not agree with faith-based conversion practices, and we do not consider these to be either ethical or therapeutic.
We are concerned about the consequences of the Memorandum of Understanding on Conversion Therapy. This document seems to promote an affirmation-only approach for therapists working with individuals with gender-related distress, creating a ‘chilling effect’ for exploratory work. There is no long-term, high-quality evidence base to support affirmation-only and we are concerned that the MoU limits the range of therapeutic options available to individuals who are endeavouring to freely explore their innermost thoughts and feelings.
It is also absolutely clear from Employment Tribunal decisions (Forstater and Bailey) that therapists can hold and express gender critical beliefs within their work setting and are legally protected in doing so.
The Gender Dysphoria Support Network (GDSN) is an international group that aims to offer psychoeducation and support to families of individuals affected by gender dysphoria. Our support network recognizes the difficulties presenting the person with gender dysphoria and also recognizes that friends and families can be in need of emotional understanding and support. The GDSN offers support and psychoeducation groups to relatives and friends so that they can share their experiences in order to resolve common challenges. The main purpose of the GDSN is to help families that have been impacted by gender dysphoria. We do this by meeting regularly and by providing information, understanding and encouragement to our members. We meet in small groups so that everyone has a chance to speak.
The GDSN is not allied with any religion, sect, denomination, political entity, organization or institution.
We are a group of parents whose children have suddenly—seemingly out of the blue—decided they identify strongly with the opposite sex and are at various stages in transitioning. This is a new phenomenon that has only recently been identified. Researchers are calling it Rapid-Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD), and it is epidemic among our most vulnerable youth.
Our children are young, naïve and impressionable, many of them are experiencing emotional or social difficulties. They are strongly influenced by their peers and by the media, who are promoting the transgender lifestyle as popular, desirable and the solution to all of their problems. And they are being misled by authority figures, such as teachers, doctors and counselors, who rush to "affirm" their chosen gender without ever questioning why.
We are skeptical of the current Standard of Care, the "Affirmative Approach," which only seems to confirm and solidify our children's misguided, externally-influenced sense of self.
And we are horrified at the growing number of young people whose bodies have been disfigured, their physical and mental health destroyed by transitioning, only to discover—too late—that it did little to relieve their dysphoria.
Please read our stories. See the devastating impact ROGD has had on our children and our families.
The purpose of this site is to give voice to an alternative to the dominant trans-activist and medical paradigm currently being touted by the media.

Advocates Protecting Children: https://advocatesprotectingchildren.org
Advocates Protecting Children (hereafter “Advocates”) is a non-profit (501c3) organization dedicated to fighting the gender industry, and especially its predation on children in the form of unethical social and medical transition for the sake of political and financial profit. We serve and support churches, schools, organizations, families, and individuals who seek facts and guidance on responding to gender ideology and activism.
Our mission is to raise awareness and support efforts to stop the unethical treatment of children by schools, hospitals, and mental and medical healthcare providers under the duplicitous banner of gender identity affirmation. We believe that no child is born in the wrong body. Connect with us.
Partners for Ethical Care is a secular, non-partisan, all-volunteer, grassroots nonprofit organization comprised of individuals from across the globe. We come from across the political spectrum and put differences aside to work toward a common mission. We are funded by individual donors, and we are humbled by their generosity.
A resource and community for people concerned about same-sex attracted young people harmed by medical transition for gender dysphoria.
Parents with Inconvenient Truths about Trans (PITT):
We are looking for new submissions from parents and family members of young people affected by gender ideology - Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to share your story.
Our Mission: Inform the conversation about Gender Dysphoria.
Explain why evidence-based care is so important.
Include people who detransition, regret or desist.
Support sex-based rights.
Our Duty is an international support network for parents who wish to protect their children from gender ideology.
Gender ideology is a set of ideas that is leading to many children to think that they are transgender. Adolescents, in particular, are prone to seeking refuge in a gender identity that is at odds with the reality of their sex. We are an evidence-based organization.
Primarily, we facilitate peer support for parents of children with what has been called ROGD and we call transgender ideation.
We put you in touch with other parents who want to protect their children from harm.
Our aim is to promote safe, compassionate, ethical and evidence-informed healthcare for children, adolescents, and young adults with gender dysphoria.
No Way Back: The Reality of Gender-Affirming Care
Six young people discuss the "gender affirming" medical care they received for gender dysphoria and how they subsequently realised this was the wrong treatment.
Who wants to go to Emeryville AMC to view No Way Back: The Reality of Gender Affirming Care on June 21st. One day only. They haven't announced a time yet so not sure if I can go but I'm going to try. Would be amazing to have a presence there.

Legislation in the works affecting your rights as parents, and your child’s development & future!
OPPOSE AB-665 Minors: consent to mental health services
Assembly Bill 665 would remove the requirement that children must be a danger to themselves or others, or be alleged incest or abuse victims, before seeking care without their parents' consent. Send email HERE.
We need you to take action NOW.
This will be sent to Senate Judiciary committee before the June 20th hearing date. Please insert your own words into body of email to send a message asking legislators to oppose AB 665.
You can also send a letter of opposition to be included in legislative analyis. It is due by 12 noon on Tues., June 13, in the Legislative Position Portal: https://calegislation.lc.ca.gov/Advocates/
Reasons to oppose:
This will remove the guardrails that prevent abuse of current law, so instead of cases of emergency, mental health professionals or school psychologists can refer for treatment and/or send a child to residential shelter services for any reason without parental consent or knowledge
The bill will give mental health counselors unfettered control over children age 12 and above and place children in residential facilities upon a minor’s request, even if the children are not experiencing abuse or neglect at home.
The law would enable school counselors, without parental knowledge or consent, to send children straight to a group home if the children say their parents aren’t supportive of their “gender identities".
This proposed bill would open up the law for abuse by officials, administrators etc. Guardrails must be kept in place to prevent misusing the law.
Ask Senate Judiciary Committee to oppose by voting NO/ABSTAIN or gut and amend the bill.
AB 665 intentionally removes the “danger guardrails” of Family Code 6924, which require an allegation of danger to a minor before the minor may consent without parental consent to residential shelter. What facts or public policy support the removal of those specific danger guardrails from Family Code 6924, enacted in 1979? I urge you to either vote no or have the author gut and amend AB 665. Leave Family Code 6924 alone. Instead, amend Welfare & Institutions 14029.8 to remove the word “not.” This will immediately enable Medi-Cal benefits for disadvantaged kids to receive counseling for any reason under Health & Safety Code 124260. You can preserve your goal without removing safety guardrails.
AB 957 : Family law: gender identity.
AB 957 Obligates a judge to include gender identity affirmation by parent as part of the deciding criteria when awarding custody in family court. Changes SECTION 1. Section 3011 of the Family Code to the health, safety, and welfare of the child includes a parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity. AB 957 will amend Family Code, section 3011, which lays out the four factors a judge must consider to determine “the best interests of the child” in order to assign or “award” custody:
(1) the health, safety and welfare of the child; replaced with
A) The health, safety, and welfare of the child.
(B) As used in this paragraph, the health, safety, and welfare of the child includes a parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity.
(2) abuse by one parent or a partner of that parent;
(3) the nature/amount of contact with parents – e.g., has one parent been absent for extended period of time, absent because of abuse, or abandoned the child, and
(4) the parent’s use of drugs and alcohol.
AB957 will not amend the code of civil procedure.
It is now amending the family code, relating to family law. The bill started as pertaining to
considerations regarding custody and visitation. But now that it is amending family code, it may
have potential to apply to other issues.
AB957 will put a parent’s willingness to affirm a child’s gender identity with a list of
considerations that include abuse and neglect. There is no clarity in the bill about the weight of
this consideration compared to others.
- What if one parent abuses the child but affirms their gender, while the other one
works and has decided to wait until the child is older.
- What if one parent is religious and does not want to give their child puberty blockers,
while the other one shows no care or regard for the child-just because they wouldn’t
object to the child getting hormone therapy they would get custody of the child?
WHAT TO DO NOW:
Send a message to all Senate Members using our “one-click” campaign HERE, then call them using the contact information, below, to reiterate your reasons for and opposition to this bill. (Note: if calling after hours, leave a voicemail.)
Please use you own words in your messaging. But keep it in a professional tone. Don't give legislators a reason to dismiss your voice.
Examples for opposition:
Language of "parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity" is vague with no legal definition. This opens up to misinterpretation on the intent of the bill.
What does “affirm” even mean? Is it social? Is it medical?
If a parent doesn’t affirm – and states so on the record – will the parent be found dangerous for the child and be denied custody altogether? Could this expose them to investigation by Child Protective Services? Could this expose them to criminal prosecution for child abuse or neglect?
Failure to "affirm" a change in gender ideology is not abuse.
It is abuse to affirm gender dysphoria or any other kind of mental issue. Ex. We don't affirm anorexic children thinking they are fat.
It is abuse to put a child on puberty blockers or other cocktail of hormones that will stunt a child's growth and cause a myriad of health problems long term.
It is abuse to enable permanent medical mutilation of a minor, when the child has not fully developed yet.
AB 957 as currently written creates a perverse incentive for parents to be extreme in their “affirmation efforts,” pursuing inappropriate or unnecessary treatment the child may not even want or need.
If one parent is physically abusive, but affirms the child's gender identity, while the other is not abusive, but will / cannot affirm, which parent will get custody?
