The ‘Johnny Appleseed’ of Election Security returns to Sonoma County, on January 21, 2024.

Dr. Douglas Frank, scientist and election expert, has visited Sonoma County before. In fact, he grew up in Petaluma. His revisit recalls the fantasy novel by author J.R.R. Tolkien entitled The Hobbit, or There and Back Again. Consider that The Hobbit is set in Middle-earth (United States) and follows home-loving Bilbo Baggins (concerned citizen), the hobbit of the title, who joins the wizard, Gandalf (Dr. Douglas Frank), and the dwarves (other concerned citizens in Sonoma County) of Thorin’s Company (Urson Russell’s non-partisan Patriot Force CA) on a quest to reclaim the dwarves’ home and treasure (Sonoma County) from the dragon (Broken Election Systems). The story is told in the form of an episodic quest that takes this merry little group from their once-peaceful rural surroundings into unfamiliar territory.

Ours is a journey that began in May 2023 when Dr. Frank first visited and educated Sonoma County voters about election systems. Concerned, a newly formed Sonoma County Election Canvass Team embarked on an episodic quest that kept us very active through October and continues. An account of our activities through October was chronicled in a November 2023 Save Our Sonoma Public Stack, (below).
With the March 5th Election primaries just around the corner and a November 5th General Election on the horizon, the quest and activities continue…
In November, an opinion survey was conducted in ten locations in Sonoma County seeking input from voters about our election systems. In August, we learned from Dr. Frank that whereas our population is shrinking, our voter rolls are increasing. Election fraud begins with dirty voter rolls, so December found us researching and canvassing to learn how our complex election systems might be impacting that finding.
Our team’s position was and remains that all voters need to have confidence in our elections. Elections are the backbone of our Democracy. Voters need to be informed and know that their votes count, and that their voices are heard. We seek the truth. If our election systems are broken, we need to repair them and restore faith in our elections.
We encourage you to join us as we receive updates from Dr. Frank about what’s happening with elections around the country. Urson Russell, President of Patriot Force CA, travels up and down the state and will share with us what’s happening elsewhere in the state. Both Dr. Frank and Urson will address Sonoma County implications. Rhonda Provost, County Canvass Captain, will share what has been learned through the efforts of the Election Canvass Team.

I was surprised to see SoCo pop decrease over the last 12 years. But it is true, a 0.4% drop. What surprises me about that is there is a lot of development here, I would have expected an increase. The most important thing is to show residents the BoS is an ideological Marxist group but I doubt anyone cares.
